So remember when doing your research that you can get a more affordable iron, but it will sometimes be in your interest to do some research and pay ten or twenty dollars more for a better hair straightener. You will have an easier time straightening your hair, you will realize better results, and your hair will be more healthy and protected.
- Add tourmaline and/or titanium and you are doing even better..
DO NOT get a straightening iron with metal or aluminum plates. Plates should also be ceramic or with tourmaline or titanium.
Tourmaline and/or titanium heaters are also good.
* Beware the deceptive words “coated plates” .. this means the flat iron has metal plates with ceramic coating – this is not the same as true ceramic plates .
